I have just bought a new steering wheel and adapter jobby for my clio. As you all know the excitement when you get home to put your new toy on...i was dissapointed to find that the adapter which was supplied to me was wrong and so i couldnt fit it
. The adaptor that was supplied to me was a 181 (according to the halfords bloke). The adapter was the right size but on my car (where you fit the adapter to) there is a sort of key which prevented the adapter from sliding on. So I rang halfords and they say that they will have to give me a refund because that is the only adapter they supply for renaults. Has anyone else had this problem? Can I swap the part on my car for one without the key? Does anyone know a supplier for a boss that will fit. By the way my car is a 98 1.2 mpi Clio Oasis (Phase 1 Face Lift). Any help would be much appreciated.Thanks
