Steering Wheels Centre

Hi all, just wondering if the centre cap of my 1998 clio steering wheel just comes off or not?
coz ive got an airbag, i dont wanna start taking the centre off and the bloody air bag pops out.
Also, can i just take the air bag out? will i need to takesomething out before the airbag? so that it doesnt explode on me. lol

You should be able to remove the centre of the stearing wheel and then just remove the airbag without it going off

well, im gonna pop down to the local scrappy to get another one anyways, so ill practice on that.
