Stereo trouble

Hi there folks. just wondering if anyone can help me I have a 2002 172 cup and i have fitted a JVC hu. the problem is none of the settings are saved once i turn off the ignition and i have to reset everything every time i wanna go anywhere. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Cheers

Swap the yellow and the red wires round....

cheers mate forgot to say i already tried that i have tested all the wires in the plug and none of them have a permenant live.

you will need to put in a new permanent live,take it off something not important,eg,cig lighter (if its permanent live) and make sure you fuse it

cig lighters on ignition i believe . there should be one behind head unit though tbh
