Sticking on number plates

Hi all

Going to be putting my private plate on soon as the V5 turns up. Currently they are screwed onto the car. Has anyone else stuck theirs on? I think that it looks much nicer IMO.

Anyone know of any issues with sticking the plates on?

just make sure the paintwork is clean to give maximum adhesion

Came out of my work to my old 182 to be met with my 3/4 plate lying on the floor in front of it lol.

Make sure you buy a couple of the sticker pad things from halfords. Would advise using 4 instead of 2.

I have some super sticky pads. Was more worried about damaging paint work really.

My plates are stuck on, i got some sticky pads from Halfords.

Some people use velcro dots, altough I don't like the idea of them being that easy to remove!
