think the dials are getting stuck mate, mine used to do it on my old rt. had to flick them to get em working. if u dare to, then take em apart and give them a good clean. cant guarantee they will go back together v easily though!
Mine used to do the same. As adams16v says the dials are sticking. It is either catching on the plastic glass in front of the dials or sticking internally. Sometimes you just need to lightly tap the front of the dials and this will unstick it.
take the dials apart mate and check the needles not pushed to hard against the actual dial face, get a knife under the needle and pull it away slightly if it is. had trouble with my speedo doing that.
Had the dials apart now and the needle moved freely when i blew it, so im hopeing its the speedo cable or just a loose connection.
Replaced three bulbs that had gone while i was there.
too right! lol. I can never get em all workin lol.
dont worry mat. if the worse comes to the worse its buggered, just get a set of 16v dials or find someone who has a set thats buggered but the rev counters ok. then just take the dial out and fit the other. you need to take the needle off and the dial
