sticking revs

hopefully a quick easy fix is out there.

occasionally when coming to a halt i notice that the revs are sticking up around 1500-2000 but if i give the throttle a little blib, they drop down to a normal idle

any thoughts?

sticky throttle cable? do a search on here heard this a few times on ph1's
