Sticky drivers side door lock

Noticed this morning that the drivers door wasnt locking, all the others are when pressing the lock button on the key fob.

Last week my problem was intermittently the drivers door wouldnt unlock. So clearly the problem is with the door locking mechanism , I will get the drivers side door card off and have a poke around.

Any issues to be aware of? Any tips?
