stiff accelerator pedal

had a couple of mates drive my 1.4 w reg clio and all have commented on the very stiff acc pedal, is this sumthing rong or sumthing normal on clios?

mines the same on my 1.2, i think there ment to be like it, i mean its really smooth but not like free if u know what i mean, drove a couple of new clios an there all like it mate, so wouldnt worry at all!

mines so stiff aswell - i always drive like a gimp after ive been driving my Pug, now thats one smooth accelerator pedal

poss stiff throttle cable.

Could be your cable on the way out and fraying.
