Stiff accelerator pedal?

Hey guys noticed today my car didnt feel right when driving so on closer inspection I found the accelerator pedal is much stiffer than usual? Now over the weekend starting Friday I have done about 350 miles of driving some fast some slow would this alter the way the accelerator pedal feels and behaves?

What could be the problem I don't remember it being stiff at all the car runs absolutely fine just the pedal is annoying me now

what model have you got? cable throttle?

if so changing the cable makes a massive difference

Sorry mate been busy past few days it seems to have eased off a bit weird? I have a cable throttle just randomly went stiff and a little less un responsive seems back to normal now I hope
