Recently had a new clutch on my beast but it just seems to be getting stiffer and stiffer. Does anyone know what this could be or had a similar problem? Cus im startin to think my clutch cable gunna start snappin again soon!

the cable could be the problem. if you dont like a stiff clutch get a soft pedal convertion from BB tuning. its geallr good and makes traffic a bit easier on your leg!!

Its quite worring though cus its all brand new on their (Even the cable). When i had my power loss sorted at a local renault specialist they mentioned on how stiff it was and said theyve never had one like it before (250 valvers on their books!) and stiffer than then still!

Make sure the cable is routed correctly. Also its advisable to change the pedal assembly when chaning the cable. The self adjusting mechanism on the pedal can wear and even fail.........

With new pedal/cable and clutch it should be a lot lighter than it was before and stay like it.

Well ve had 2 clutch cables snapped on me within a year!!! after the first one was replaced the clutch still seemed stiff and when it snapped the other month and was replaced it now feels much lighter, as Paul said above ive been told that a new clutch pedal could cure it properly as the ratchet?? on pedal wares?? Occasionally get a weird feeling in the clutch as if its gonna break or something but it only does it every now and then
