still have chuddering problems :(

  Rb182cup+s2 rallye
a few weeks back i posted how when i accelerate hard between 3-4k theres a chudder, well i was advised to change spark plugs and i did it stopped for a couple of drives and now is back but doesnt do it as bad or as much.
at first at times it was like id brake hard then accelerate hard but most of the time it was like a little tap on the brake pedal.

the cars a 51 plate 1.2 dynamique with 24k on the clock, any ideas?

u sure you've got it in the right gear. you havent come down from a bigger engined car?

im not taking the piss, i found this when coming down from a 1.6 to a 1.2 you need to drop more gears to suit the road.

naah its my first car and does it going up through the gears not just after i changed gear either. say i go into second at 2k and keep my foot down until after 4k it chudders once between 3-4k but before it did it just after 3 and just before 4.

I had the same problem, if you open your bonnet and look to the top towards your windscreen there should be a metal case over some wires (the case is removable and is smallish). The metal case was wearing those wires away and making the car shudder, the mechanic said this is common with clios and doesnt know why renualt bother putting these metals cases on the main wires. Hope this helps

Its a cover for the engine wiring loom and unfortunately it chafes the wiring loom away. If its knackered the loom then its going to be big £££ unless its under warrenty.

think its fixed the wires wernt to bad so i taped them up and filed the metal box down as i take it it was shorting it out and theres nothing there now all runs smooth. thanks very much for the help guys.
