Stone chips and a PC. Should never the two meet?

I have a couple of small stone chips on my car - two on the bonnet and one on the wing.

With a PC on the way, am I best staying well clear with the PC? Or just being extra careful?

Cheers,
D.

what would the outcome be if you touched up the chips with paint, then ran over them with the pc? would it just rip the paint straight back out? or look plain rubbish?

The PC should be fine as long as the paint isn't "flaking off" completly

But;
If you touch-up your chips and wet-sand the excess paint to smooth the surface - you will benefit from your PC when buffing the paint back up again :)

mine needs a PC, but i have alot of chips at the front..now its only used at weekends i was thinkin of slowly building up the paint in the chips, and as you say, wet sand smooth, then let loose with the PC

Will smooth off the paint slightly, best of wet sanding them first then polishing.

LOL - I would say it is a random orbital sander which can take different sized backing plates for varying sizes and grades of polishing pads.
