Stoopid phone question (creating wallpapers, W810i)

I found out the pixel size of my phone and created some wallpapers, connected my phone up (Sony Ericsson W810i) and stuck the JPEGs in the pictures folder where my phone pics are stored.

Even though they are there (on the memory card) when I look on the phone they are nowhere to be seen.

What am I doing wrong, or is it even possible to do what I'm trying to do?

should be fine...is the phone still connected to the computer when your trying to look at them?

my ericsson k750i has to be disconnected before you can see them on the phone....

Disconnected the phone, went into the pictures section on the phone and it's only my actual photos taken on the phone.

Connect it back up and look on my PC and it's my phone photos and the wallpaper images I've added, very strange.

If you still have problems tomorrow remind me mate and I'll talk you through it.. Mine does the same thing now and again. I'd explain now but I need to plug the phone in and explain it at the same time.. (if that makes sense lol)

^^ Thanks, will play about and see what I can do before then.

EDIT: Got it thanks, completely different location in the folder that was hidden away, stick it there and it's fine!
