Stop and battery Light Help

[P33 AVE]

Hi i started my 182 today and was driving along then all off a sudden the battery and stop warning light came on so once i got home i turned the car off and started it again and even though it started it was a struggle. I then left the car for 5min and then the car wouldnt start untill the third try and once it is started the warning lights dont go out.

Is this as simple and the battery needs charged/replaced?

charging fault, nothing to do wityh a dead battery.

check the main posative lead from the alternator, my mate had this problem on his 182 and the cable was broken
