Stop and handbrake light on

Hi everyone, my handbrake and stop light are constantly on. I have checked the fluid level first but that's fine. I inspected the pads and changed the rears as they looked a little low but the lights still remain on. Any ideas on what I can check next? Is there a sensor sticking or something simple?

There's a sensor at the base of the handbrake.

I have the same issue - brake fluid is fine, and pads all ok.

Any help appreciated.

Hi, it turned out to be the rear caliper was leaking so I had it replaced

Thanks for the reply. Will check the calipers/hoses for leaks.

Do you recall if the brakes felt fine at the time? Good pedal feel?
