STOP and Handbrake lights

Whenever I start my car in a morning the STOP and handbrake lights stay on the dash, and it takes a bit of driving before they dissapear, brakes seem to be working pretty fine I'm just wondering what is causing this?

Sometimes flickers on and off on the motorway too.

I've done a search but couldn't find much tbh.

check the brake fluid is full.

Then check the handbrake warning switch/connector.

Sounds like brake fluid is low.

just had this problem forward discs and pads worn, had them replaced this stopped the lights coming on
