'STOP' Light

This morning when I was driving to work my STOP light came on and ith it my handbrake light. They stayed on for a bit and then went back off. They continued to go on and off all the way their and all the way back.

Any one have any idea whot this means.

Help would be much appreciated.

either brake pads are low or brake fluid needs topping up.

yeh mate id say its the pads tbh, i had the same problem and it was the front pads

I got that message about 2 secs before my front pads shattered.

I went out and topped up the brake fluid and the light has stayed on.

Gutted, but are the pads difficult to replace, and could i do it myself.

I am totally clueless when it comes to mechanical things though. Im onlyan electrician.

Dead easy to chnage pads people on here will help you if you want.
Best give a clue where about you are.
The stop light alone is rare can mean low on oil.
