STOP light

When i turn the car on in the morning i get the STOP light come on and the handbrake light stays on also it flickers on and off for a while but then goes off. Any ideas what could cause it to come on ?

Not 100% sure but I think its the levels of oil or brake fluid that causes it. I remember this type of thing before and someone told me the solution to it but its slipped my mind now sorry.

Anyone know the exact cause? hope it something as simple as oil or brake fluid.

oil is good dipped it the day before yesterday will check brake fluid tomorrow tbh the brakes do feel a little spongy now i think about it .
