STOP lite and Handbrake light came on??

I have had the Trophy for 3 week now and am loving every drive I make!
Little problem I am having at the mo is that when I park on a hill and come to start the car the STOP light and handbrake stay lit up? and I was following a lorry up a hill the other day and the light starte flickering on?
any ideas please?

Checked those! pads are only 6 month old and the fluid level is full
Doesn't come on any other time - even when driving hard, only if parked facing up hill or traveling up a hill very slowly........

mine started doing that and it was my fluid being a bit low.... chuck a bit more in for good measure!

Might flush it out and put some new oil in? might help slightly.....

Hope you mean brake fluid? lol. Clio's are due a BFC every 4 years on renault standards. I would just top it up and have a look at the condition of it. If its really black or dirty in colour instead of golden it could do with changing
