"STOP" warning light

Can anyone tell me when you've got the handbrake on/up the "STOP" and caution light comes on? at the mo I've only got the (!) caution light?

When engine is off, both should be lit with handbrake on. But when engine is running and handbrake applied only the (!) should light up afaik.

when i start the engine up and all the lights flash up. the stop lights up with the others and goes off (!) stays on. I always thought the stop stayed on before,, maybe it's just me? :S

Stop light disappears a few seconds after you start the car.

nah mate, the stop light would only come on if you stalled after setting off with the handbrake still applied :clown:

When i accelerate, my handbrake light (!) and the (STOP) light flicker on in sync. Sometimes the stay on together when accelerating up a hill. Any ideas? I've got used to it but thought i'd ask since this thread was started.

^^ Top up your brake fluid, that's the fluid level sensor triggering. Thats why it comes on when you go up a hill.
