Storm Grey Clio 200 and Lotus Elise S2 Detail

Finally got round to giving my Clio 200 a good clean yesterday. I didn't think it needed machine polishing just yet, having been looked after very well by its previous owner (I think RussZS has worked on it in the past). So just the usual wash with 2BM (Megs shampoo plus), and AG HD Wax applied.

I then agreed to give my mate a hand detailing his Lotus Elise S2 he'd just bought. It was in great condition for an 8 year old car, with only 29k miles just suffering from the usual swirling to the paintwork. Didn't manage to get as many 'after' photos of the correction as I would have liked as it was getting on for 10pm by the time we finished! In hindsight I think it would have been better to spread the work over 2 days.

Superb looking cars.

I have never seen an SG Clio on the roads round my neck of the woods. The colour really suits the car.

The Lotus is fantastic for its age too, Red is one of the best colours when its as clean as that IMO.

Thanks for the comments all. I don't know if its me but all of a sudden I'm noticing a lot of Elise's/ Exige's on the road, absolutely loving them!

Was there any paint bubbling on the elise?

No paint bubbling as far as I could tell Matt, we went very carefully and only used a light abrasive cut as didn't want to risk too much heat and pressure on the fibreglass/ paint.
