My sills are bent where you jack the car up (those thin lower bits) just wondering how to straighten them out?
thanks

Hammer!?! lol

My rear passenger side sill is a bit bent aswel.

On the subject of sills and jacking etc. Where does everyone locate axle stands at the rear for supporting the car once it's jacked up?

Mine are flattened too.

Going to use a decent pair of pliers and a cloth to protect the paintwork.

I'd just leave em bent . They will only bend again the next time you use a jack .

^So jack up the front until the rear is raised enough to put the axle stand in? Or is there a better place for jacking the rear?

Trouble with straightening them out is that the metal is already weakend from being bent, so it'll just bend again twice as easy if you straighten them.

WIth a hammer and maybe a dolly (bodywork tool)

At the back the axle stands are fine on the sills, just not at the front!
I've always jacked off the subframe and then put the axle stands on the front sills with a bit of wood in between the sill and stand, hasn't folded my sills and it was on them for 3 days when the gearbox went.
Mind you, folded the sills on my 1.2 jacking of them.
