Strange Issue (Lighting)

Was in the monaco tonight and every time i hit the brake pedal the rear fog light on the dash flickered faintly just the once when hitting the pedal.

When i put on an indicator either left or right for only the first flash of the indicator the same happened again and the rear fog light flickered faintly.

When i parked up i got someone to check my lights but when i hit the brake only the brake lights came on and when i put my indicator on it was the only light to flash at the rear.

Im guessing its going to be an earth issue but apart from the gearbox to chassis earth is there one at the rear of the car i should be looking for to clean up / possibly change ?

Mine does this when its raining / been washed. Look behind the carpet where the rear lights screw in, you'll see earth there. Also, give the connections a good going over with a wire brush inside the clusters.

All fixed guys, it was the earth that was rusty and the rear light not in correctly, connection all cleaned up and looking like now and lights all sorted and cleaned with a spray of electrical cleaner

I might have to check this. When I brake, it makes my fog come on faintly and the dash fog flashes faintly. When I put it in reverse and brake my left indicator comes on slightly as does the dash light. Sound like the same fix?

Mine has been doing this...AND the rear wiper will sometimes come on which I'm guessing is the reverse light trying to come on because of bad earth and having the wiper stalk in the auto setting.

Mines been doing this. Generally when braking or occasionally when the indicator is on. I'll have to have a look at the earths and the rear clusters.
