strange knocking please help

When I was driving my car today noticed a knocking sound! Its not engine deffo but when I go in striaght line it knocks away when I accelerate it goes and when I turn it goes only when I coast in strait line

Lower end ball joint

I had this and after I had a new one fitted it went.

sounds like a bearing...

does it speed up the faster you go??

or when you slow to a crawl does it get loud?
