Ok the best way I can describe it is, imagine a marble in an empty ice cream tub with the lid on then shake the tub. It's very intermitant and does not increase in speed with the revs, in fact it seems to do it more on idle. It doesn't seem to matter whether it's a cold start or if the engine is warmed up. It sounds like it's coming from the side of the engine where all the belts are behind the driverside headlight. I had the cambelt and tensions all changed earlier this year so it shouldn't be that.
