strange noise?

today when I first started my car and it idled it sounded like it was very lightly squeeling.... if i revved it a bit it got louder this only happens when its cold any ideas folks? it's happened from new when its cold? is it because of the turbo or is it a belt?? it stsops after i drive for about 5 seconds or so

cars close to two year old with 38k mile on it! also at the minute there is no mods on her bar the SX kit exhaust.

I'd say thats the Aux Belt slipping mate. A lot of cars suffer this in the colder weathers not just clios, have a look at the belt that runs to the alternator and see if it's slack could do with tightening.

thanks guys im not really cluedup on how to tighten it but I know what / where it is as the car is only 2 year old will renault adjust for free?
