Strange wobble, vibration at 50-60 mph

I posted a few weeks back about this, and thought it was down to the tracking being out, or the tyres needed replacing i have now done that, and the strange wobble vibration is still there Mike [at Rentech] has checked ther driveshafts suspension etc so it's nothing to do with that.

Anyone got any ideas what could be causing this?

Cheers Fletcher.

maybe a buckled wheel?

if the vibration is felt mainly in the steering wheel then its the front wheels
if the vibration is felt maily through the car then its the rear wheels

It sounds like a tyre could be going out of shape or the wheel is damaged

You can tell this by jacking for example, the n/s/f wheel of the ground and looking at the way the tyre is worn

Check the tyres mate, i had a bubble in drivers front, which was felt through the steering at about 50ish....

Did they balance your wheels when they did your tyres?

Yes they did mate.

I also had the front left [Where the vibration seems to come from] changed over to the spare wheel. As i am the second owner and bought the car on 46k there's a good chance that wheel could also have a buckle:(

I hope thats all it is as i quite fancy a set of turinis, i just don't want to fork out for a new set of wheels and still have the same wobble vibration.
