Strengthened rear Axle

Hi all,

just thought I would put up a few pics of my recently strengthened and painted rear axle and a local blasters / fabricators

so looking forward to the first track day of 2022. Castle Combe in April!!

Looks amazing, what a transformation. Probably obvious but you need to scrape the paint off the stub axle mount points.

The business that did it sand blasted it before they started so I was bare metal mate.

it looks to nice to fit to the car 🤣🤣

i would presume he means after it’s been painted/powdercoated (although best practice would have been to mask it off before coating).

The mating faces between beam and stub axle should be metal to metal. With no paint/powdercoat on these surfaces.
