Stretched tyres mot??

So i run 165/50 r15 nankang ns2 on a 7j rim, brand new tyres as my old ones were eaten by the rear arch :tired:
my spare steelies are going bald, so will probably fail with them on

would the stretched tyres pass an MOT or will i have to source some wheels for the mot

Would say you'll be fine, used to run 195/40/16 on a 8J, and was pulled over a few times never said anything about the wheels.. not sure about the MOT tho specifically as I knew the Testers, but i think its a bit of a grey area and they can only advise it.
