Strip above rear passenger windows, next to roof...can this be removed?

Anything can be removed.

How much damage you do whilst removing it is the question.

I had mine off on my old one to fix a leak - if I recall I slid it towards the rear bumper and pulled it off.

Go careful cuz they're metal and it bends easily. Slide backward and lift off if I recall

Definately comes off, seen a guy on here replace them with carbon ones.
