Stripped out the rear..

..sounds. ;)

As well as messing aorund with the Golf (thread here http://www.cliosport.net/forum/showthread.php?t=506082) i've managed to find some time to remove the sounds from the clio. I've loved the bass for a while, but i'd prefer to regain some lost power now that Johns got his 72.

Started out with this.

Sub out

False floor 1 up.

Now both removed.

The Amp will be staying as this runs my components, but it will be getting moved to under the drivers seat where the 6 disc changer used to live.

Now the weight removed

Sub = 2 stone! thats 12.7kg
False floor1 weighs 8kg
false floor 2 (bottom) weighs 9kg

All in i've now lost approx 29kg. Not bad imo.

Wouldnt really call that sripped out tbh.

You wont see a massive difference unless you go crazy. Id stick with it still being nice and comfy :)

That's not stripped. That's going on holiday mode or making a bit more room.

Well done you've removed weight that you previously added.

Reading fail tbh guys. I've said stripped out the sounds, the stripped out was said in jest. Hence the wink from the Smilies collection.

St3ve yes i have removed the weight i put in hence the use of the word REGAIN.

  b/g 182, meg tourer
29kg but still heavier than a standard one. good start tho.
i would now remove the amp, wires, spare wheel and tools.
