I never understand why people remove dashboards and heaters? I can't think of a proper race car I've seen that doesn't have some sort of dash board?

Dashboard looks like a token guesture on these. Most race cars have a very flimsy fibreglass/carbon lightweight replica of the original dash

Like I said 'some sort of dashboard' at least it's there though, rather than clocks haphazardly stuck on top of the steering column and what not.
