Stripping out a valver, how much difference?

As above really, how much difference, performance wise, will i notice if i remove the interior, and which bits should i remove?

You will notice alot on acceleration, remove rear seats, seatbelts, buckles, speakers, plastic trim, doorcards, spare wheel, boot lining, roof lining, carpet etc!

At FCS, there was me (full interior + sub + 18mm mdf false floor) and there was Jas (stripped out, Nick Read as passenger) and he could not get past me.

So, I think it's fair to say that a normal sized passenger is the same weight as a full interior! lol

Martin do you drive that every day? Its a right mess looks like its been stolen and dismantled for parts.
A bit excessive for me (not hardcore enough obviously) how much did you save by taking all those little plastic bits off the dash!?

  Fiat Coupe 20v turbo
Yup it's me daily driver...no idea on the plastic bits I just got carried away lol
It may look a right mess in your opinion but it goes pretty well:evil:

  20VT Clio & 9-5 HOT
i can vouch for that, spanked everything on track when i was out with him!!

My mate removed the back seats from his VTS for the airfield day and he noticed a heck of a difference!

That valver looks completely stripped, bit far for me, but just my opinion, it aint my car!

Really worthwhile for a track day etc I reckon

Tom

Yeah i aint gonna go that far but i could live without the rear seats etc. are bucket seats lighter than standard valver seats.

Mine is in the same state as Martins, apart from i ahve my top dash and stearing wheel shroud, they weight 2kgs tops together, and yup, its a daily driver
