Haha, not quite.

I'm in the process of putting my 172 on a diet and need to remove the rear seats. Once this is done I want to add a layer of carpet like material over the metal work and wire so the car doesn't look too much like a road racers.
Where do you guys go to get this done, or do you pop down allied carpets and trim a roll to fit?

best bet is to use some acoustic fabric type material and clad it over a thin piece of board.

russ@gasperformance trimmed his in the back with an alacantra type material which is a really good match for the doorcards, and i think he sells it by the metre as well.
 
Or, why would I buy a Pug when I've got a tidy 172 with all the track toys on it and I know the history of the vehicle etc.
