just thinking of buying a pair of stryt braces for my 172, how much diference do these really make to the cars handling???

Er I think you are wrong there,the rear one does fook all apart from get in the way.And if you are just driving on the road,the front doesn't do much either.

You may need some copper grease to stop the squeeking as well. Mine chooses to squeek regardless

I noticed a difference when I fitted my rear brace and I have the opposite of the placebo effect.
I don't think any mod is going to work, I have to feel a pronouced difference before I think it's worth while,
I don't really care what other people say about them, I know mine made a difference.
