strut top mounts?

hi quick question. are the mounts at the top of your struts surpose to turn when you turn the stearing wheel?

The rubber bits? Yes.

so thats not the problem then lol. any ideas what this could be. when i turn to the left stearing is alot hevier and theres like a rubbing noise which gets louder the more i turn to the left?

Do you have different wheels etc? Check the aux belt on the engine see if thats loosing tensin etc.

cheers av checked everythink lol apart from the aux belt didnt think this could cause the problems i am having?
