stupid stickers, help!

i have a 1.2 dynamique that i bought from the local arnold clark dealer, and theres 2 stupid stickers on them, one is the arnold clark one that is pealing off but there is a horrible white thing behind it, dont want this left on my window?

any ideas on how to get either off cleanly, i just dont like the elf thingy just looks tacky!

any help will be appreciated guys thanks.

Boiling water and some persistence!

Use a small flat head screwdriver to just peel at the corner. Once you can get a grip of it just pull. They come off easy once you've got a bit to pull on. Then just clean the window to get rid of any residue still there.

i started doing this to the arnold clark one and there is something behind it thats stuck on the window and is quite hard to get off, just seeing if theres an easier way to do it that wont leave a mess, the elf one just flakes off bit by bit haha

Keep the elf an bin the Shark one, bit of white spirit should lift it.

ahh i see, there a right stupid bunch down at the local haha, got the car delivered and the key fobs hadnt been programmed, so sent it back down and the same thing happened again, they claimed the electric gates where interfering haha, third time lucky though, just a set of lazy ....

Yeh you do not wanna advertise that shoddy bunch! Got mine off asap aswell. Just be careful when removing the elf one over the heater rear window wires. I have one broken line after removing mine.

could you not heat the glue up with a hairdryer or heat gun that you use to strip paint?

Heat gun and a stanly blade ! just be careful of the rear screen heater strips on the interior stickers

Yey! Someone wanting to get rid of their Motorway Maintenance (sorry, I mean, Arnold Clark) sticker! I would pay an extra £50 for that thing never to go near a car of mine, if I got it from there. Hideous, tacky, shite things.

If you're stuck with residue on the glass, then the easiest product I've found to use is either white spirit or solvent cleaner. JUST BE CAREFUL THAT IT DOESN'T DRIP ONTO THE CAR!

I've never had to try longer than 5mins to get any stickers off the glass of my car(s).
