Stupidly cheap cambelt change price!

Car  Iceburg 172FF
So ive just been ringing round a few places as my cambelt change is due pretty much now. Rang up arnold clark in manchester and spoke to the service dept.

They came back with a price of £201 including kit labour and VAT! Sounds too good to be true I think but im going to get it in writing.

Are these the correct locking tools because I said I would supply them as they dont have the correct ones for the 172.

well the aux belt kit is £107, and the cambelt kit is £150 plus 5 hours labour, i think they made a slight mistake there! plus they need the special tools

Thought it might have been too good to be true lol.

Defo ringing Steve@brichdown tomorrow and getting it booked in then!

As fred said! that cannot be correct! At the minute i think our kits are £123 for the genuine cambelt kit, and i THINK the aux belt kits are £90 something! (special offers!)

Plus cam seals, so there is £275 worth of parts with the VAT!! (roughly)

Make sure they are using kits and not just belts fella!!:approve:

my williams is 5 hours labour, i supplied the cambelt kit (£85) and they charged me £240 for the labour! thats at top gear
