Ebay.... find a cheap jl 12w0 and a mrd-300 alpine amp, should get the pair for around £100.

Have a look on TalkAudio to see what people recommend.

You should be able to get a half decent setup for a ton, but don't forget you need to budget a little bit for wiring and fuses!

failing that, a JBL 75.2 and a JBL GTO 12" subwoofer is just over budget
