lol 700 watt sub = 150 RMS dear me

I owuld not bother getting another one of those subs, sell it and use the money you get and the money from the second you were going to buy to get a better sub.

150 RMS is not an awful lot at all.

By the way what amp do you have?

  Golf Mk3 Gti 8v
why dont you just get the sp480 mutant 4x80 rms bridge it to get 2x160 rms and turn it down a little bit i aint no expert but thats wot i wud do the amp is 70 pound from motor world

mutant stuff is very cheap and for a good reason........

to effectivley power 2 subs you want a mono amp that can run at 2 ohm.

this would blow them apert if you turned up the gain too much but would be perfect if you were very careful and only turned the gain up slightly

Plus its Cheap !

Using 2 channels to power 2 speakers can be a bit rough as you need to be very good at balancing them to get good sound

alpine mono block from Motorworld £150, 200w RMS at 4ohm, 350w RMS at 2ohm, im sure thats the power outputs, really good amp tho, i have fitted 3 in ppl's cars including my own and am very pleased with it!!!
