Sub in spare wheel hole...

  Clio Dynamique Noir
I know this has already been done, and before someone says it, yes I have used the search and dug up loads of ancient threads. I posted on them but obv theyre too old for anyone to care about them anymore! So basically I just wanted some advice about it. Anyone who has done it would you recommend it? Also anyone that has any pics or a progress thread about it?
ALSO, from the threads I had read they said that if you mount just the sub cone into the new 'false floor' it will sound rubbish! You need to use a box.(enclosure) So I was just wondering if i could dismantle my current sub box, use the cone and build a new 'more suitable' box...easy to take apart? (just a standard box)
I want my boot back!!

Any help or comments would be appreciated!!

Thanks very much!

Is it adhesived together? Wont come apart without breaking dyou reckon?

Depends what sub box you have? I'd just make a shallow square sub box that fits in the hole and then fit a false floor over the top so it all sits flush.

you wont be able to take you sub box apart

Its all been adhesived together so I couldnt do it without smashing it apart :D

I went and had a proper look at my sub and i can unscrew the speaker cone straight out! Makes my life a little bit easier...I want to do what that Laura has done with hers but have my amp on show too, just wonder how im going to get it all at the same level etc etc...
