SUB Problems Nearly Everyone help

Right erm ive got:

1x SPLX AMp 450watt (poo i know)

2x 10" JBL 1000watt subs 250RMS

and a standard Sony headunit.

Problem:

When i turn the power up a little bit on the amp it seems to cut out all the time. ive got the Subs bridged well what looks like bridged. two positives on one side of the connection and two negatives on the other side and there is two connections in the middle.

so erm i dunno Why it cuts out when i have it turned up a little bit on the amp its not Even that loud to be honest and i know the JBL can kick out quite a bit more im just woundering if ive wired it up wrong?

when you say you have two positives on one side and two negatives on the other, how do you mean (diagram would be very helpful here)

ill be brutally honest here, SPLx ICE is completely shite, and i would never consider buying one of them, which could be one of your problems, the internals could be fryed, quite common with poor quailty amps

head unit wont be a problem, s i think the amp will be going into protection mode, therfore stopping itself from operating

as above though, if you can draw a diagram of how you have wired up the amp and subs it will help immensely, as from your description its hardly clear as to what you have done

1st off you are overloading the channels on the amp, you should never connect 2 speakers to the same connector on the amp (if that makes any sense)

you want to reinstall it, using one channel per sub (im assuming its only a 2 channel amp??)

the amp is going into the protection mode because you are overloading the channels, wouldnt be surprised if you have damaged the amp by doing this

advice - either try again to install cables as advised above, or pay someone to set your ice up, imho you would be best to pay someone who knows fully what they are doing to have a look at it, and sort out all your problems

o ok then so im guessin them two parts on the amp where i have two subs runnin off it Are only for one Sub at a time? cuz it Does say bridged above them two areas But that makes more sense now if u could just confirm its only for one sub at a time

have done now and it was working fine just its gone off again now and its not the Amp ill sort it out in the morning prob due to the box moving about abit in the back which im yet to secure
