subs making my whole car rattle

  54 1.2 dynamique
my whole car litterally rattles on the outside when ive got my system on loud with the doors and windows shut, in particular the side panels. Is there any way i can reduce this without having to clear my bank acount by sound deadening the whole thing?

Ive also got alot of high pitch vibrations coming from the speaker grilles in the front. solutions?

Thanks

High pitch vibrations?
No such thing really....
Resonance is the name of the panel movement.
Caused by bass frequencies moving the panels.
It's nothing to worry about really. The only way i believe you can eliminate it is deadening.
Dynamat extreme = top notch, so is Second Skin damplifier pro!
Just tighten up as much as possible, thats all i did! (Or silicone and polyfill lol)
Every bolt there was in the boot got tightened. I cannot afford deadening either.
Besides the fact it will reduce my SPL output ( ok wallop wont like that :rasp: )

iv found that aswell when all the windows and doors are closed, but just opening the sunroof or windows makes it a lil better for some reason..

with the windows open you are releasing the air pressure, so it won't be so bad. my old car was fully dynamatted, roof, floor the lot, that made 157db with 2 sub not connected.

The rear side panels on my mates 3 door used to rattle loads, my 5 door doesn't so those 2 extra doors finally have a use!

Wondering how a 172 will cope.

Tightening all bolts sounds a good idea tho, but guessing it won't work as well for big panels.

^^^So you've tested this have you.....Didn't think so:rasp:^^^

Deadening of panels such as the hatch & rear quarters should increase SPL readings, as should deadening of doors, but deadening the roof can in some cases be detrimental to SPL readings.....

In all cases though, deadening will improve overall sound quality......

^^^157dB, WOW, what were you running????^^^
