Subwoofer Alternative????

Hi guys, I'm starting to need my boot space a lot more so am considering removing my sub. Is there any other good alternative to producing some bass but doesn't take a lot of space? Would 6.5" mid bass/woofer like these work?

Did consider this but it'd mean reinforcing the shelf and still taking up boot space and I don't want it on show like that, maybe if I had tints.

That is an excellent idea! Could prob fit an 8" woofer without taking up too much space. Simple MDF job?

What about getting 2 6" woofers secured underneath driver and passenger seats?? Only downside I can think off is smaller size speaker and might not be able to move seat all the way forward, but should be ok since mine are normally all the way back anyway.

The new 3 series uses a similar set up to these, works well given the size.

That looks like it'll do the job perfect, good way to save space and weight. Bit pricey if I wanted to get two tho, so maybe just fit a drivers one since I drive alone mostly. Think that'll be ok??

I have a pair of Genesis 6 x 9 subs, which I'm going to fit in an acoustic parcel shelf. Should be good, plus I keep my boot space.

6x9 subs?? Havn't seen subs in that size before, do they run with similar power outputs and low frequencies?

lol will be hard i cant have music with out the bass , just dosent sound right lol
