Subwoofer Setup

  ph1-mk1-1.4, white
Hello,

Looking at getting subs for me car....

Subs:
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/INFINITY-KAPP...93537QQcategoryZ18805QQtcZphotoQQcmdZViewItem

Amp:
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/KENWOOD-KAC-8...14038QQcategoryZ18797QQtcZphotoQQcmdZViewItem

Running the 2 speakers from the one Amp.

First question can you do it? (i think i can)
Would it provide enough power?

Should i wire in parallel so i halve the resistance? allowing me more power from the amp, how would this spilt between the speakers.

Cheers for the help
Andy

  Polo + Micra
look for a monoblock (class D) amp

that will do at least 800wRms @ 2 ohms

225wRMS into those subs isn't enough

that was a bit more than i was looking to spend right now.
Would they work with the other amp, in your oppinion?

So i could upgrade for more defening at a later date?

  Polo + Micra
yeah they would work

might be better get one sub and amp then get another sub and amp later if you require
