Ph1 172 + Combo van
Had a few days off work because i had an operation so thought i would spend a day on the car.
It needed it with summer coming up as well as FCS within a few weeks. Mid June im going on a bit of a euro road trip too.
Started off by jacking the car up.
Eww. Jetwash the arches and wheels. All purpose cleaner sprayed all in the arch and over wheels/ tires. Scrub with a brush. Long brush through the wheels.
Aswell as under the skirts.
Jet wash off.
Dry the arches and wheels.
Bumper care on arches:
Wierd rubbing on standard wheels and tires?:S Anyone else get this?
Then time to clean the car. Wash mitt. Duragloss shampoo.
Different wash mitt for the wheels
Hose off
Push off most of the water with a microfibre:
Then drying towel and last touch:
Dry the wheels quickly too they are bed for water marks:
Had to paint one more caliper so whipped the wheel off and cleaned up the caliper with a wire brush:
Bit of primer:
Getting there:
Done...
Paint...
Whilst that was drying i had lunch and got my hair cut ha!
SRPd and 476d the wheel whilst off:
Whilst that was curing i gave the engine bay a quick wipe over:
Refitted the wheel.
SRPd and 476d the whole car. No photos as this was a pain in the ass.
Bumper care on the trim and tyres.
Last wipe down with last touch and a micro fibre.
Some finished photos.
All done. Im beggining to hate detailing. :dead:
