Summer Wheels

The summer wheels were due to go back on the Mrs Bm so thought would give them a clean but got carried away and fully deconned them and sealed them. The front were really bad taking multiple hits and agitation of ironx despite being sealed with c5 last summer when it was detailed. Hers the result

I wish my wheels were this clean. My fronts are so covered in cv grease that I had to get them balanced to account for the grease.

If all it needed was ironX to remove the baked on brake dust then C5 has worked to a degree. Otherwise you'd be needing something stronger.

My c5 has been on so long it's failed and brake dust is bonded on the rear wheels oddly. Fallout removers aren't touching it during the weekly wash

Should of seen them when we originally bought the car, Jim at Whitedetails really made a great job of them just unfortunate that they had picked up so much contamination

Took 7 or 8 hits of iron x on the fronts and several goes with obliterate, ultimately could of done with claying but ran out of time. Could see C5 the still working. After it was originally detailed we drove to the Alps the next week and everywhere we went they were resurfacing the roads( very unlike the UK) so picked up tonnes of tar
