sun strip to do or not to do

i have 1 here i was given just not sure to puto it on or not what u guys and girls think????

i dont like them to be honest. can look if you get them done when your having your windows tinted. but i doubt id put one on

if its done well, i think they can look good, but most are too large for my liking, and the colour has got to be a very good match too

I got mine done when windows were done & at most the Clio meets people like it. Looks a bit touring carish....nice.

what is sun strips?? some glue plastic on top of your front windows so the sun wont burn your eyes?

If so... I dont like them. Just like my cars to look like regular ones... not fancy things... only a beast under the bonnet.

Not a big fan of sunstrips, they were a tasty cheap mod when they first came out, made your car look a bit different, but now the only cars that have them are Metros with Viper stripes. Id avoid it unless you can get a proper tint strip done across the inside of the windscreen if you get tints done. And when youre at the front of the grid waiting for the traffic lights to turn green you cant see a bloody thing either, you have wind down your window and poke your head out!

Ive got one. I have a sports blue 16v and a black sunstrip. Ive got one of the cliosport stickers on the drivers side stuck on the sunstrip.

I think it looks good and everyone whos seen it likes it too.

You can see thru mine, it is tint not black!!! Helps with the sun & also makes the car look totally blacked out from the front. I love it.

IMO 99% of the time they look crap and tacky but there is always an exception to the rule!

So there you have it...some people like em some people dont. I used to have one but just went off it. Gotta say it was handy in the low sun during the winter. I think the key to sunstrips is dont go too mental with the graphics or lettering, subtle is best. And dont ever get one that says Motorsport

Sorry IMO its a boy racer thing (battered out Nova and escorts seem to be wearing them.) An they never look right on a meltalic painted car. I think sun visors were invented to stop the sun anyway.

I have the small clio sport sticker in the centre top of my wind screen. Looks better.

I used 2 have a sunstrip on my old car, at the time I liked it and thought it made my car look a bit more sporty(dont ask). But I dont like them n e more, some can look good, but I think most of the time they just look cheap and very tacky.
