Got a DLSR for xmas but with it being dark every night before I get home it's basically been until now before I could get out and use it. Photo novice but eager to learn and looking for all c&c.

Taken with a Canon 1000D & kit lens. Some brightness/contrast/saturation alteration in photoshop afterwards.

Good pics, I'd have done a tighter crop on the first one to lose the bit were it looks like the stone wall ends and a fence begins but that's a personal preference.
