Sunroof lock rattling

So, the lock that you pull to open / close the sunroof rattles when driving along and the sun roof is shut, any idea how to shut this thing up?

Hate the way my car has a sunroof, havent used it once!

Its said getting a kitchen sponge and opening the sun roof and closing the handle down on it stops/quiets the problem I have exactly the same just havent tried the theory yet

i stuffed a piece of kitchen roll up in there seems to have done the trick
